Please don't slap me, but I'm gonna show you yet more photos of Charla. A lot of these are unfocused because it looked better that way in photos.
My ring and pointer nails looks so creepy. I swear they don't look that creepy in real life. It's all because of that weirdo curving that long nails seem to get. I don't know why, but it pisses me off. Man, can I ever stop complaining and being negative? Probably not.
Later! =)

LA Girl Rock Star Addict
How's everyone doing? Today I did my nails with LA Girl Rock Star Addict. This color has to be in my top (insert number) reds, up there with Ruby Pumps. I have ChG Stroll too, which I think is a dupe to this. So that needs to be up there too. But back to Addict. It has such beautiful gold and red flake glitter in a maroon jelly base. Sometimes it looks like the dark red color and sometimes it looks like a burnt brown red, almost completely brown. I loves it.
Gah, my middle nail is taking forever! I know I keep filing it to shape it, but damn it, I'm impacient!

Claire's Fabulous/Funky
I get such a kick out of these Mood Polishes. I want the new ones! The pinks probably my least favorite though, just cause the funky french effect isn't as obvious as it is on the others.
Now you're probably wondering why I have a smiley face, or in this case a sad face, on my middle finger. (I'm a paint expert.) It's that that's the nail that tore and I had to glue back. Well, it decided to be an a*shole, so I just tore it off all the way. It's like nonexistent major nubbin nail and I don't want you all to see!
*Something to keep in mind: The warm color is a really bright neon pink, so imagine this pink but super bright.

So, do the faces bother you? If so, I guess I'll try to do two or maybe three finger swatches. Or maybe wait til it grows out. I'd use my right hand, but the middle finger also broke a while ago on that hand. I guess my middle fingers have been used a lot...

Purple Pizzazz and Daddy's Girl Comparison
I thought maybe I had a dupe for Purple Pizzazz. Apparently not. I had no acetone so no clean up this time and this photo is color corrected. Rain + no sun = bad pictures.
Both of these are at 3 coats.
Outdoors they look very different, but indoors they look very close. Purple Pizzazz takes 3 or 4 coats, has an annoying brush and average application. Not very sparkly. Daddy's Girl takes 2 or 3 coats, has a normal brush and better application. Lots of sparkles. It looks lighter but somehow darker to me. Weird.
The verdict: Daddy's Girl has better application and is cheaper. It also has no VNL and actually sparkles, wow! Now, I'm being kinda hard on Purple Pizzazz and although it looks flat and boring in these pictures, it's really not. It's purty too.
Something else I noticed is, but that's off-topic is that Orly has apparently asked the e-tailers to raise their price cause now they cost $3.75. If I'm correct they used to be $3.18 or $3.50. I hope China Glaze doesn't get all big headed over this OPI sh*t now too and raise their prices. These brands like Orly and China Glaze need to realize that without the e-tailers and the women who blog about them and give these sites most of their traffic, they wouldn't make near as much money as they do. (run on?) I never knew either of these brands until I started my addiction and I guarantee I never would have. Which is a shame cause CG is probably my favorite brand and Orly is really nice too. /end rant

Sally Hansen X-treme Wear Purple Pizzazz
I haven't been feeling very nail-y lately. Kinda uninspired. So here's something I just slapped on to keep my nails protected. This was sheer and needed 3 coats and would probably look even better with a fourth. I really hate these long and skinny brushes. It's hard to clean the polish off the stem and then a big drop comes while you're painting and ruins what you just did. Also when you stick the brush back in if you even scrape it against the rim the polish on the stem just spills over the sides. Anyway...
All in all it's a really pretty color. I have a dupe in mind and I'll be doing a comparison of those two here soon.
And just to make this post more positive here's a picture of a sleeping kitten.

This one is one of those jelly polishes that never fills in so you have darker and lighter spots. I only did 2 coats, but this could've used 3 or 4. I didn't care to do more than 2. This also looks more red than it does berry (think Moxie) in some lights.
On an unrelated note, CND Stickey and Seche Vite, that shit makes polish last forever on me, son!
I thought lollipop was spelled with two l's...?

Above and Below: Outside in as much sun as I could get, which wasn't much.

Indoors
| In the sun |
Indoors under fluorescent. There's no VNL indoors like it looks here. |

China Glaze Dripping Wet
Sorry for my absence, if any of you noticed. :p Umm, let's just avoid the elephant in the room, okay? Though I'd love to talk about it and maybe offend a few people.
I got this from Mary of Body and Soul. She has a little shop, which I linked to, where she sells mainly Massini to people like me who don't live in the Midwest. So if you've lusted after this polish like me, or Slamming Red or Purple Medallion, you can get it there.
It's black label China Glaze, so it's not B3F. It's a HTF too, I believe. This was 4 effortless coats, definitely worth it for the color to me. Glossy and perfect, though you need to be careful with bald spots. My SO described this as, "Either evil or some really dark grapes." Can't beat those color description skillz can ya?
I'm sad. My thumb nail had a tear and I slammed it into the door when my legs were being attacked by a running cat. It snapped right off and now my thumb looks all stubby and ugly. =(

| Kinda ugly full on sun. The jelliness and cuticle balding is really obvious in th sun. |

Claire's Happy/Earthy
How I pined for thee, oh Claire's Mood Change polish. I can finally haz you. You could've made more awesome colors, like a red to orange or black to white, but you're still oh so pleasing.
Now if I remember correctly some girls got away with two coats. Uhh na guey, that ain't happening for me. It took me four coats, but it's worth it for the awesomeness that is color change polish. I had so much fun with this. These dry to a satin finish, so you're gonna need some top coat. They weren't especially annoying to apply for me, other than necessitating four coats.
Another thing, I haven't seen these on nails as long as mine, so it looks even cooler on long nails. Like you have a funky french on. I need to spank my pinky to make it stay in line!
Mood ring! It even turns your finger green!
Now the great debate is, should I buy back ups?

Essie Lolipop
It was love at first sight with this luscious red. I love reds and have to compulsively buy them in every order or when I see them. This has such a unique finish, jelly/creme. It looks kind of see through and that if you were to push on it it would feel squishy. This is my second favorite red after Queen of Speed by Color Club. Whose collections I cannot wait to see. Three?!?! Amazing.
I thought lollipop was spelled with two l's...?
Above and below: I think these were in the shade...I'm not sure, but this is outside.

Above and Below: Outside in as much sun as I could get, which wasn't much. This was two coats, thought it probably could of used three. There's a tiny bit of VNL after two coats. Not too much for most people, but for me it's pushing it.
Man, that last post I did of Nfu Oh 58 had such good pictures, why can't I get that anymore?
