These are both wrong color-wise, but they show the pretty red and gold shimmer/sparkle/glitter/whatever.

Zoya Nidhi
Okay, let me start off first with these pictures suck because 1. It wouldn't stop raining and 2. I had no acetone which means no cleanup. My middle finger nail was also glued on, so it looks pretty weird. Which is sad because this is a pretty color. I just wish the gold sparkle would show up more.

ReplyDeleteAre you cool toned or warm Arianne (or neutral)? I thought the Nidhi was warm (tomato-ey) from most of the swatches I saw too, but some of yours look true red and I've been looking for a true red with gold shimmer.

You know Sandi, I have no f*cking idea what tone I am. I look good in fall-y colors like brown and sage green, burnt orange, stuff like that, but I don't know. I didn't think it was tomato-y, but maybe I'm blind or have bad color sense.

I think that makes you a warm...unless you're just a weirdo neutral like me that still only looks good in one side of the color palette. Anything yellow, truly orange (as opposed to pinky peach) or a green with a yellow or brownish base makes me look ill but my foundation is dead on neutral with no yellow or pink undertones. You look so good with wines and purples on your nails though, maybe you're one of those lucky wear anything girls.
ReplyDeleteI don't wear foundation, so that's the main reason why I don't know. Maybe I am, cause I've never run across a nail polish that made me look ill or have lobster hands.
