Claire's Fabulous/Funky

I get such a kick out of these Mood Polishes. I want the new ones! The pinks probably my least favorite though, just cause the funky french effect isn't as obvious as it is on the others.

Now you're probably wondering why I have a smiley face, or in this case a sad face, on my middle finger. (I'm a paint expert.) It's that that's the nail that tore and I had to glue back. Well, it decided to be an a*shole, so I just tore it off all the way. It's like nonexistent major nubbin nail and I don't want you all to see!

*Something to keep in mind: The warm color is a really bright neon pink, so imagine this pink but super bright.

So, do the faces bother you? If so, I guess I'll try to do two or maybe three finger swatches. Or maybe wait til it grows out. I'd use my right hand, but the middle finger also broke a while ago on that hand. I guess my middle fingers have been used a lot...

Color Club Vintage Couture

I'm waiting on my stupid camera...so another crappy photo.

This is such a pretty stark pink pastel, but I was cringing while applying this. I did 3 coats on my left and 4 on my right. It just wasn't evening out and I still had bald spots. I recommend starting with a thin coat, then doing thick coats after that. Maybe the reason it was so thick and annoying was because it's been sitting with it's neglected, unused siblings for 6 months.

I was gonna do a comparison with Something Sweet, but they kept showing up white on my camera. So...I failed again?

China Glaze Cowgirl Up

Purples are notoriously hard to capture on camera, so it was a bitch for me to get this to show up color correct on camera, but I think I got it pretty good on one of them. Just imagine it a lot more pink purple (red?) than blue purple. Warm purple, not a cool purple. Magenta. It's not like you haven't seen this one before anyway.

Although I can't say the application was the best. Not due to the polish, but due to the fact that a May Fly kept assaulting my face while I was applying it.

This next one is the most color accurate, I think. The others are real close though.

Zoya Happi

As you know (cause I know you read my last post) I could not take an accurate photo of this polish. Apparently my camera can't handle the awesomeness that is duochrome. So these are as good as I could get. However, this polish is so awesome. I love it to pieces. This was 3 coats to even it all out.

You can see the duochrome really well in the bottle.

The color is more like this photo, although even more...rich...of a color. Basically what I'm saying is pay no attention to these. D:

Finally Zoya

Por fin, I got my damn Zoya order. This was when they were having their little deal for 2 free polishes. I only buy Zoya when it's on sale, so of course I had to break my no buy and get some.

This is as good as a photo as I could get with the sun that was given today, so sorry they suck. I had an even worse time trying to take a photo of Happi, my current mani. I could not get the damn duochrome to come out indoors, so maybe tomorrow I will have some sun to use.

Nyx Harmonica

Ahhh, Nyx Harmonica. This is actually not mine, but my sister's. This is what I would call a slut color. No offense to all you sluts. You know what I mean? That light pink that all the tan bleach blonde/dark brown bimbos wear. Yeah, that one. I mean it's a nice color, but I can't help but feel like I'm about to go turn a trick or something. Good thing I'm pale, or this would look a lot worse.

This is actually in the sun, even though it doesn't really look like it.



She got this when we went to HEB. I saw Nyx and almost squealed out loud. I didn't know they were sold at HEB. It must be a new thing cause everything was all reorganized and in a new layout. I sure haven't seen them before.

Almost forgot to add, this lipstick smells like roses a la funeral home.
