At Your Quebec & Call + Nubar 2010

I wanted to do this yesterday, but I had food poisoning and was too busy vomiting on myself. Damn Chinese food! Notorious for uncleanliness. Wait, I know someone will complain about me saying that so I must say I wish not to offend anyone.

A reader Sandi wanted to see this with Hidden Treasure over it, but I don't have that. Instead I have Nubar 2010, which is identical to better than HT.

Of course, 16,000 photos! Oh, and sorry for the humongous gap, I had this on for a long time so it started coming away at the cuticle.

No I'm not copying off you-know-who with these angles!

And here it is matte:

I couldn't stop thinking how much this reminded me of a polish that already exists. I couldn't think of which one until a few minutes ago. Shimmery Chic! You know, the puke color with orange-y flakies released last year in OPI's Winter Wishes collection or whatever it was called. I don't know...I really like this.

China Glaze Grape Pop + Nfu Oh 51

I got bored of Grape Pop so I put 51 over it. Behold!

Sorry they're kinda shitty, there was no sun when I was able to swatch these so this is by my window.

Sinful Colors Green Ocean over Liquid Leather Matte

My latest mani mattiefied. It's weird how blue the flakies and glitter in Green Ocean turn when you put it over black. I'm sure they turn blue with Green Ocean by itself too. Pretty nice wear outta this for almost the third day. I usually have some major chips by then.

Nfu Oh 58 over Liquid Leather

This was yesterday's manicure, China Glaze's Liquid Leather topped with Nfu Oh #58. This looks so cool, I love looks like this. L-l-l-l-. This alone looks like shit, so definitely gonna wear it over black. This was 2 coats of ChG, 1 1/3 coats of Nfu Oh and 1 3/4 coats of Seche.

Indoors: More of a burnt orange flakie. Yellow is a little visible.

Shade

Outside: Sooo pretty! Red, orange, yellow and green show up in the flakies. This looks so much better outdoors.

Love! Also, my pinky nail broke, the monster pinky nail. I'm sad and it feels and looks so weird not having it there. Wah!!

Nfu Oh 51

Okay, so for my first post I bring you the gorgeous as hell Nfu Oh number 51. You've all seen this one before, but this is my take on it. As you can see by my jaundiced looking skin I am not using a good quality camera, but my cellphone. Forgive me, I can't afford a camera, but it's not like anyone reads this anyway. Why am I posting this? But I digress. These were taken at sunset, some a little earlier.

(Please forgive my horribly uneven nails.)

And for good measure I'll throw in the transparent version of my jaundiced skin. Just look how electric it looks though!

This was so picture laden, but it was hard for me to choose. I wasn't able to catch the rainbow effect the flakies have, but this one is hard to catch right on camera. The formula of this polish was really good, smooth and easy to apply. I'm definitely buying some more Nfu Oh in the future. I loove me some flakies.
